The Footballer chest
1905+
According to legend, this chest belonged to a brilliant young college footballer from the 1900s on the eastern seaboard of the United States. He was fascinated by a painting in the main building of the university and aspired to be the one immortalized in that image.
Properly installed, on this chest below the painting, there was the county trophy dedicated to the man's name. Proud of his success, and moved to be able to celebrate, the young man then paid homage to his own father on the image.
Jarrod Goodrum discovered this chest and this painting in the same lot. He was able to give a last breath to history and its heroes.
