The Consaide promotional game

What is the meaning of life? It's to keep moving forward, not to trip over the negative, and to collect as much positive as possible.

Consaide decided to reward the people who play this game by bringing together stores that offer consumers discounts on their in-store prices, to compete with online shopping.

How to play

  1. Two ways to play: Play to win (fast belt, 20% more golden gifts) to win your discounts, your maples and your jackpot, or Practice (slower belt, much less poop) to train, with nothing to win. Turn your phone sideways to play full screen, with just your thumbs.
  2. In the pit, every black gift that lands on your head takes a gift off your shelf.
  3. Your guy walks on the conveyor belt by himself. Gifts and poops fall from the pipe and come toward him.
  4. Move to the back or the front (swipe your thumb up or down on the screen) to avoid a poop or go get a gift.
  5. Move forward by keeping your left thumb on the left half of the screen. If you let go, he stops and the belt carries him toward the poop pit. He can never go backward on his own.
  6. Jump by tapping the right half of the screen with your right thumb: each jump takes him over the poop.
  7. Jump on a gift to catch it (walking, you go right past it), then jump once to toss it onto your shelf. Until it's put away, you don't know who's offering it: on the shelf, it becomes a card with the store's logo. A missed gift falls into the pit and its discount is lost.
  8. Step in a poop: you slide back and you're stuck. Jump 8 times (6 in practice) to break free, then 2 more times for every other poop in the same game, before the belt takes you to the pit.
  9. No poop limit: you're only out if you fall into the poop pit. You then wait 1 hour.
  10. Black-bow gift: it's a trap! Jump over it to let it pass… but careful, some still catch you. If you walk into it, you lose a gift from your shelf.
  11. Golden-bow gift: catch it and 10 gifts appear. Quickly pick 3, they go onto your shelf. But your guy keeps moving on the belt meanwhile, and after 6 seconds, the ones you didn't pick fall into the pit!
  12. Green-bow gift: catch it: 5 green gifts and Consaide will plant a sugar maple through its program. You can collect them without limit, it's for a good cause.
  13. You can play at most 6 hours per 24-hour period.
  14. Your discounts are valid for 7 days. If unused, they disappear. Shelves counted toward your catalogue jackpot, however, add up with no time limit.
  15. Full shelf: your guy sits in his chair, claps and jumps for joy with his discount. You play again 5 minutes later.
  16. The shelf fills in a single game. If you fall or stop playing, it empties and you start over. Allow about 4 minutes per shelf.
  17. Full shelf (15 gifts): each gift is worth 0.05% off at the store that offered it (adds up for 7 days) and 0.02% on your catalogue page (adds up to the page's maximum). These percentages are maximums to reach, on regular in-store prices (not on sale items). The closer your weekly discounts get to the maximum, the faster the belt goes (up to 25% faster); it slows down again as your gifts expire.
  18. Each shelf also counts toward your catalogue page: after 100 shelves, you win the jackpot (trip, car, tickets…). You can switch pages anytime: each page keeps its shelves, with no time limit.
